The Ukrainian experience is increasingly being studied across Europe, particularly in maintaining critical infrastructure during wartime. Vinnytsia shared practical solutions in decentralized energy generation, backup systems, and rapid restoration of essential services.
Despite ongoing challenges caused by the full-scale war, the city continues to ensure stable operation of key institutions, including hospitals and educational facilities, through resilient energy systems and backup power sources.
During the conference, the delegation also discussed potential international cooperation projects, including the development of an automated surface water quality monitoring system for the Southern Bug River.
Vinnytsia’s experience demonstrates how local communities can strengthen energy security and sustainability even under extreme conditions, contributing to broader European resilience and cooperation.
