ROCCA SAN GIOVANNI – It’s not just a matter of labels or “branding,” but of identity. For the second consecutive year, the Municipality of Rocca San Giovanni has answered the call for National Made in Italy Day, confirming its role as a nerve center for the promotion of our productive and cultural roots.
The event, which saw widespread participation from the community and, most importantly, from schools, was far from the usual “dusty” institutional celebration. On the contrary, it transformed into an open-air laboratory where Italian “know-how” was the true protagonist.

The heartbeat of the initiative was the students. Involving us young people in these paths is no minor detail: we often look to the future thinking of careers far away, forgetting that the excellence the world envies is born right here, in our villages. Through workshops and meetings, classes were able to see firsthand what it truly means to create value—from the agri-food supply chain to digital craftsmanship.

“Seeing the kids so interested in the local production processes is proof that Made in Italy has a solid future,” commented one of the teachers in attendance.

The strength of this second edition was its ability to unite the local community. The town square and historic buildings became meeting points for “veterans” of the trade and curious youth. Rocca San Giovanni, with its history and strategic position, confirms itself as a model of how a small municipality can act as an ambassador for a national message: quality has no borders, but it always has a very specific home.

In an increasingly globalized and standardized world, this day reminded us that our added value lies in uniqueness. Participating for the second time wasn’t just a milestone, but a starting point to turn this event into a fixed tradition, capable of inspiring the next generations of professionals and conscious citizens.
