Una frazione dimenticata dagli uomini, ma non dal sisma del 2009, rinasce grazie alla intraprendenza e alla perseveranza di pochi volenterosi e in particolare di Giorgio de Paulis che ha voluto investire se stesso nel borgo trasformandolo in una sorta di albergo diffuso “Alle vecchie Querce”. Siamo nella Valle Subequana, in Abruzzo, nel comune di Fontecchio, area ricca di storia, arte e cultura. Per Giorgio non si tratta solo di una attività imprenditoriale, ma di uno stile di vita.
Gli ospiti provengono da tutta Europa alla ricerca di un’oasi di pace. Crescente il numero di ospiti che scelgono di lavorare in home working a contatto con la natura, lontano dal caos cittadino. Il gestore si occupa anche dell’orto che offre agli ospiti prodotti a chilometro zero.
