A new Summer Eco School for children aged 8–11 is opening in Vinnytsia, offering an engaging programme of environmental education and outdoor activities throughout June and July. The initiative includes five thematic sessions, each lasting three days and combining learning, adventure, and hands-on experiences in nature.
Participants will take part in ecological quests, explore local flora and fauna, learn navigation and camping skills, receive basic first-aid training, and try water activities such as stand-up paddleboarding. The programme also features creative workshops, team-building exercises, and environmental research in some of Vinnytsia’s most remarkable natural and cultural locations.
The project is organized by the Department of City Marketing and Tourism with the support of the Department of Recovery and Development of the Vinnytsia City Council within the framework of the Environmental Protection Programme of the Vinnytsia Urban Territorial Community. By encouraging children to connect with nature and develop practical environmental skills, the Summer Eco School contributes to building a new generation of environmentally responsible citizens
